Dee Mcfaul was appointed as Musical Director in 2018. She is a passionate music educator currently employed at St Gregory’s Queanbeyan as their Choral Director and music specialist teacher.
Dee graduated from the University of South Australia with first-class honours in Education. She has conducted and accompanied many school and community choirs in her home town of Gawler, S.A., including the Choir of Old Crocks. She has tutored and taught piano, music theory and woodwind for over twenty years. She is most proud of having students who have gone on to become music educators and choral directors. She has completed all graded exams with the ABRSM, in pianoforte, studying under Sally Greenaway. Dee has worked as a chorister and tour supervisor with the wonderful Gondwana National Choirs since 2010. Whilst with Gondwana she has been privileged to learn from Australian Choral Music Directors such as Lyn Williams OAM, Mark O’Leary OAM, Steven Leek, Sal Whitwell and Dan Walker. Dee believes everyone can sing and choirs are a wonderful way of belonging to a supportive and joyful community.
