Feels Like Home
a musical celebration of place and community
Qwire's End of Year Concert
Saturday 8 November 2025
3 pm & 7 pm
Albert Hall, Canberra
Feels Like Home is grounded in the knowledge that First Nation's peoples have been at
home on this continent for millennia.
Canberra Qwire’s Musical Director Callum Tolhurst -Close reflects:
‘
'Home is built on many other parts of our humanity. Home can
be found through love and belonging; through comfort and desire; through heartache
and trial. At the same time, I acknowledge that there are those in our community and
society who are unable to feel home.’
Make yourself at home at Albert Hall at 3pm or 7pm on 8 November to experience
‘spine-tinglingly strong’ renditions of music made famous by The Jackson Five, Ben
Folds, The Golden Girls, Paul Simon, Christine Anu and Canberra’s own Dan Walker.

Qwire acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands on which we sing and come together. We pay
our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We recognise that sovereignty was never ceded and
that this was, always will be Ngunnawal land.
We pay our respects to the Ngunnawal people of this region and say to you, with their permission,
Yuma - Welcome.
