'Merry and Gay' was a total blast of a concert - for the audience and Qwire singers.  We performed a selection of tribute songs to musical icons who passed in the last year: Archie Roach, Judith Durham from the Seekers, Olivia Newton John and Stephen Sondheim.  Andy Bell MCed a great show conducted by our MD Lachlan Snow accompanied by Jess Stewart on keyboard.  Lachlan had the audience up and singing from the start of the show setting the festive mood.  And to top it off we had the audience singing along to our queer carols.   A great way to end 2002 as we head into our 30th anniversary year in 2023.
